Meet Felipe Norena, a highly skilled and experienced orthodontist with over 33 years of American training in the field. Dr. Norena received his dental degree from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogota, Colombia, in 1985. He then pursued a Masters’s Degree in Orthodontics from one of the most prestigious programs in the world, Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri, which he completed in January 1991.
Since then, Dr. Norena has been practicing as an American-trained orthodontist, helping countless patients achieve their dream smiles. He is dedicated to providing the highest quality orthodontic care and has gained a reputation for his attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
Dr. Norena is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontics (AAO), American Dental Association (ADA), and the Florida Association of Orthodontics (FAO), demonstrating his commitment to staying current with the latest advances in orthodontic care and providing his patients with the highest standard of treatment.
Dr. Norena is the founder and owner of Norena Orthodontics in Plantation, FL, where he continues to provide top-notch orthodontic treatment to patients of all ages. His extensive knowledge and experience in orthodontics, his gentle approach, and his genuine concern for his patient’s well-being make him a sought-after orthodontist in the community.

Monica has been leading Norena Orthodontics with dedication and care for 22 years. She believes orthodontics goes beyond creating beautiful smiles—it’s also about promoting healthy function and lasting oral health. At home, Monica treasures time with her husband, their two daughters, and the family’s dogs.

For Vanessa, connecting with patients is the best part of her work. As she pursues her bachelor’s degree, she balances her studies with her passion for helping people feel comfortable and cared for in the office. Outside of work, Vanessa enjoys soaking up the sun at the beach, roller skating, and spending time with her beloved cat, Tokyo.

With more than 19 years of experience in orthodontics, Talia has been an invaluable part of Dr. Norena’s team for over 7 years. She is known for her skill, consistency, and patient-centered approach. In her spare time, Talia is a devoted mother who cherishes every moment with her daughter.

Giselle is a highly experienced dental hygienist with more than 23 years in the field, originally trained in Colombia. She is passionate about building trust with patients, always providing gentle, thorough care with a welcoming smile. Outside of the office, Giselle loves to travel and immerse herself in new cultures, finding inspiration and joy in every adventure.
